Tony Bennet & Lady Gaga - The Lady is A Tramp

Of the current crop of pop superstars, perhaps none is better suited to take on "The Lady Is a Tramp" than Lady Gaga — and we definitely don't mean that in a bad way.

After all, the song — first performed on Broadway in the 1937 musical "Babes in Arms," a production better known for the standards it featured, like "Tramp" and "My Funny Valentine," than it's rather brief run on the Great White Way — has been covered by the likes of Lena Horne, Ella Fitzgerald and Shirley Bassey over the years, and requires a certain quality that only those stars possessed: a brassy, beguiling bite, one that comes across both in their voices and the way they carry themselves away from the stage.

In short, they have to be able to embody the titular Tramp. And now, Gaga got her shot, in an updated version of the song that appears on Tony Bennett's chart-topping Duets II album. A video for the song premiered online Monday (October 3), and, yes, Gaga plays the role to perfection, vamping and camping alongside Bennett, blue hair bobbing along to the beat. In a floor-length black-lace dress, she belts out the chorus, flits and flirts through lines like "I love the free, fresh wind in my hair" and "I'm so broke" (and even professes her love for the Yankees, which probably explains her behavior at Citi Field last season) does the prerequisite pouting and even scats a bit.

Bennett seems to love every minute of it, trading vocal couplets, laughing when Gaga steals his handkerchief and taking her on a slow dance at song's end. And thanks to the backing of a roaring big band, this new version of "Tramp" is not only a welcome addition to the lengthy list of cover versions, but, in some way, it takes the song into new territory too. A lot of that is thanks to Gaga, who gives her all and really, truly becomes the Tramp.

Samsung Galaxy Y Pro

Specifically considered and release with the Generation Y in mind — symbolised with the Y inscription in both phones, the Samsung Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Pro — could these two smartphones be the top off BlackBerry and iPhone competitor?

The two phones, designed particularly at the younger Generation Y, will be powered by Android Gingerbread.

However, the phones are not as convincing as one might had hoped.

Part of Samsung’s simplified phone naming strategy, there will be five marked courses of phones.

Ranging from “Y” entry level phones — which stands for “Young” — through to “S” for premium models, each class will have extra markers to indicate specific functionality of that gadget.

Straight forwardly competing with the new scale of BlackBerry Curve’s — Research in Motion’s entry-level smartphone — the two are similar in potential, in that both of them are frankly underpowered.

Both have a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11n with faster wireless transfer speeds, but a measly 832Mhz processor.

The Galaxy Y Pro also launches with enterprise features, for graduate students ready into the work environment, including Cisco Mobile and WebEx.

Pricing has yet to be announced. Considering the Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet, a require lustre competitor to Apple’s iPad was priced at the equal rate; one can only hope that Samsung does not make the same mistake two times.

To compete with the BlackBerry and the iPhone — the two phones announced at present need to cost less, and subsidies by the carter need to cost the targeted Generation Y user less per month, too.

But whether the Identifying mark power of the Galaxy is powerful enough to rival that of competing BlackBerry and iPhone brands — well, I believe we all know the answer to that.

Paranormal Activity 2

Sebenernya, aku takut untuk buat ulasan tentang film ini. Film ini untuk saya sangat amad mengerikan. Beberapa orang mengatakan, film ini tidak menakutkan sama sekali. Tidak ada penampakan hantu, tidak ada setan, dan tidak ada monster. Tapi apa yang sangat menakutkan adalah suara - suara yang entah datang darimana, keadaan yang diluar akal sehat, scene yang mengejutkan, dan kamera CCTV that made me so freak out!

Film ini mengisahkan sebuah keluarga : 1 Pasangan (Suami & Istri), Anak bayi (Hunter), dan seorang keponakan dari si pasangan. Mereka pindah ke rumah baru, pas pertama pindah saja sudah terjadi keanehan, dimana yang sebelomnya yg keadaan rapi di tiap kamar berubah menjadi sesuatu kekacauan, entah darimana berasal. Keanehan2 trus muncul di rumah itu, sampe akhirnya dipasang CCTV di tiap sudut ruang. Apa yang bikin saya terkejut adalah, si istri merupakan kakak dari Katie (Paranormal Activity 1). Diceritakan ada Katie, dan disini akan diulas secara eksplisit kenapa waktu PA1, Katie bisa diikuti oleh setan yang mengganggunya. Dengan kata lain, PA2 merupakan cerita yang terjadi sebelum adanya PA1.

Ya untuk yang mau dapet sensasi lain dari horror yang eksplisit, Paranormal Activity 2 bisa menjadi saran yang tepat, saran saya nonton dulu yang pertama, karena sangat berhubungan.

Sebenernya udah liad dari lama kalo ada tempat ini di TA, cuma nga jelas makanan apa... Ternyata ini makanan berbentuk puff, namun puff itu dikuliti oleh lapisan yg kenyal... Gitu kita gigit, terasa kenyal banget, udah gitu fla di dalemnya akan muncrat keluar (huhuhuhuhuhu, tadi ampe jatoh2 fla nya ke lantai). Isi puff nya ada vanilla, coklat, & peanut. Not bad, pengen lagi rasanya, drpada bosen J.Co ato semacemnya, cobain deh Chewy Junior (asalnya ternyata dari Singapore).

Sesampainya di stand Quickly, saya jadi teringat ingin memfoto minuman segar ini untuk saya masukkan blog. Lalu saya bilang ke teteq, teq tar gue mau foto minum nya yah (centil).

Aduh ngakak banget pas bagian ini, udah jelas2 si abank liad dompet kita, masih dibilang bohong... Si abank ambil ketawa2 seh, cuma lucu aja rasanya. Gak pernah ketemu serasa akrab banget XD. Ternyata memang seinget teteq, si abank Quickly ini telah melayani teteq dan cicinya sebelumnya, mungkin bisa dibilang si abank inget dengan teteq, tapi lucu juga kalo dipikir2..." Hahahaha...

Indonesian Food ngga selalu ngga enak koq,, gejolak jiwa yang saya alami waktu saya makan BMK (Bakso Malang Karapitan) di TA. AAARrrrRRggghhhh!!! bakso malang spesialnya pengen banget gue sekarang !!! now look at the gado2, bisa ngiler2 dah liadnya, mienya pake ayam rica2 pedes2 gimana gituuuuu XD, pake sop siomay goreng juga !!! and jangan lupa ditemenin ama es teh!!! Very2 yummyyyyy........ LAPERRRR~~~~~
O yah itu porsi buat 2 orang loh, bukan saya sendiri yang makan XD.

P2 ( Thriller )

P2, film thriller sebenarnya sudah dirilis sejak 2007 lalu, film yang buat gw tegang dari awal film ampe akhir,, sebenernya cerita nya simple aja.. Angela yang diperankan oleh Rachel Nichols ingin merayakan X-mas Eve nya bersama kakaknya dan keluarganya, namun disayangkan Angela mempunyai pekerjaan yang tidak dapat ditinggal, sehingga ia harus pulang untuk lembur. Setelah pekerjaan nya selesai, ia bergegas untuk segera pulang, namun mobilnya mogok. Ia berkehendak untuk mencari Taxi karena sudah sangat telat untuk merayakan party nya. Untuk itu ia meminta tolong Thomas (Wen Bentley) sebagai petugas parking di situ untuk membuka pintu yang dikunci. Dari sini ketegangan mulai muncul, Angela diculik dan dipaksa oleh Thomas untuk merayakan X-Mas Eve bersama nya. Namun apa yang di dapat Angela, pemaksaan di mana kakinya diborgol sehingga tidak bisa kemana2.. Di film ini dimunculkan juga bagaimana cara Angela untuk escape dari Thomas, tekanan batin yang dialami Angela diberikan oleh Thomas seperti pemaksaan yang harus benar2 dilaksanakan. Untuk violence yang diberikan juga cukup pas dan tidak berlebihan. Hmm untuk kelemahannya, mungkin ceritanya terlalu pendek, namun alur, setting yang hanya terjadi di gedung parkiran namun tidak membuat bosan, dan base story nya bagus.

Eagle Eye ( Science Fiction, Action )

Ok this is my first post.. Eagle Eye karya Steven Spielberg.. Film yang dimainkan sama Shia Labeouf sama Michelle Monaghan... Shia berperan sebagai Jerry dan Michelle memerankan rachel... Menurut pendapat gw, film ini sih super bagus top top top abis... Dalam pandangan gw, film ini bergenre action science fiction dan kereeeeeennn abis.. Jerry yang mempunyai kembaran bernama Ethan, mereka berdua kembar identik, namun Ethan lebih mempunyai keahlian atau kemampuan yang lebih daripada Jerry... Tiba2 Jerry mendapat kabar bahwa Ethan tewas karena kecelakaan, misterius yang dialami kecelakaan tersebut... Selain itu diceritakan juga Rachel mempunyai anak bernama Sam, Sam pergi untuk studi tur bersama teman2nya dan untuk memainkan okestra musik, Sam memainkan terompet, yang dimana merupakan pemicu untuk meledaknya bom yang besar.. Mengapa bisa gitu ??? :D :D :D
Hmm kecanggihan teknologi di sini sangat ditonjolkan, dimulai dari sistem komputer yang canggih sampai bisa mengendalikan seseorang untuk harus melakukan sesuatu agar ia terselamatkan dari bahaya yang dapat mengancam nyawanya...
Aria merupakan nama komputer makro yang dapat mengubah situasi yang buruk menjadi lebih baik, namun Aria tiba2 melakukan kegiatan analisis komputer nya atas kemauannya sendiri, ia tidak bisa lagi dikendalikan oleh manusia, sehingga Aria di mana kita akan berpikir selalu menyelamatkan manusia, bisa menjadi musuh berbahaya bagi kita jugak !!!!!
Untuk keseluruhan cerita ini sebenernya simple banget, alur yang mudah di mengerti dan technology yang keren merupakan film yang sangat2 harus ditonton oleh kita semua XD... Namun ada sedikit kekurangan yang saya bisa lihat dari film ini, contohnya waktu Jerry melompat dari atas gedung dan hampir terkena tabrak kereta, visual effect yang dimunculkan sangat terlihat buatan, tidak sekeren 300 yang sangat menyatu di dalam nya...
N.B : pengen nonton kedua kalinya neh :D
